The not so open open-mic

Taking the stage to the streets

So this week was King’s day! A day to celebrate the birthday of the king by selling your junk in overcrowded streets, but hey! A reason to celebrate is always welcome. This year we decided to make our own stage in the street.

Played for like 3 hours, fun! Jamming, covers and songs of our own. The clocks from the belltower behind us wanted to participate in the jam a few times, but they were off beat and off key. We tried to play along, we were not able to play that loud. # FirstWorldProblems.

The main event this week should have been an open mic, but it turned out not to be an open mic at all. I mean it was in the name, but you had to book yourself like 9 months in advance. For a moment we thought about staying, but I guess it had to happen like that for a reason. As everything does. The road trip on it’s own was worth it and it gave us the opportunity for a Space Cave Session! Good way to end a nice week!
