Full speed ahead. Gigs are lining up and the stars are aligning. Berlin was amazing and crazy at the same time. After work on Friday, we drove 620 kilometres to get to the hotel, Saturday we drove for 45 minutes to reach Mauerpark and Sunday we drove back home, the same 620 kilometres.
Sounds like madness?
That’s us!
The park was amazing tho and the equipment worked like a charm. We recorded it all on video so a compilation and/or reel will come soon on Facebook!
The spot we found was brilliant. The remains of the wall behind us and, at first glance, we were in the shade. Never taking in account that the sun moves during the day, but all good. During the day we started noticing that there was a pattern in which people “visited” a few persons in a sequence. Don’t know for sure, but felt like an episode of ‘Top Boy’
When we came back to the hotel the ceiling was leaking. Dripping down steadily. At first we didn’t think anything of it, but as more and more came down the worry started kicking in. Especially cause Jeanettes daughter was with us. The room was right next to the emergency exit, but in the end we couldn’t take the chance and so we went to the person behind the desk. “Oh yeah that’s the air conditioning, pay no mind to it.” Was the response. Well if you know about a possible leak either let us know this can happen or fix the damn thing. Sounds simple enough, right?
This weekend we look forward to playing in the Peppel again, excited!!
